NRF at the 15th International Physiotherapy Summit

Introduction

The Neuroaid and Research Foundation (NRF) proudly participated in the 15th Physiotherapy Summit—an international conference held on April 4–5, 2025, in Rajkot, Gujarat. Organized by the School of Physiotherapy at RK University, the summit centered on the theme “Pioneering Physiotherapy Innovative Practice and Elevating Standards.” The event united over 500 delegates, including researchers, heads of physiotherapy departments, senior physiotherapists, and entrepreneurs, creating a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange and professional networking.

NRF’s Representation and Workshop

Dr. Sonal Sharma and Dr. Nidhi Kashyap represented NRF at the summit. Their primary objective was to conduct an educational workshop titled “Interplay of Stretching, Muscle Length Testing, and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation: Optimizing Flexibility and Function.” The workshop was well received, with 60 participants eagerly engaging in the session. NRF’s participation was driven by a commitment to enhance participants’ understanding and practical skills in specialized physiotherapy techniques, empowering the next generation of physiotherapists with evidence-based strategies for improving patient outcomes and quality of life.

The summit was graced by Dr. Yagna Shukla as the Chief Guest. Notable Guests of Honour included:

NRF’s Role in Scientific Events

NRF team members had the honour of judging the scientific event, where postgraduate students presented their research. The valediction ceremony recognized outstanding research contributions, with prizes awarded to the winners.

Panel Discussion and Closing

A concluding panel discussion featured experts who provided valuable recommendations on implementing evidence-based physiotherapy education and bridging the gap between research and clinical practice.
