Inspiring Stories : Visit of Para Powerlifters to Neuroaid-Shakti

The journey began at the Indian Wheelchair Cricket Premier League held in Dwarka in 2022, where NRF’s senior physiotherapist Dr Sonal Sharma met Mr Vinod Thakur and Mr Gulfam Ahmed while providing the much-needed on-field support to the sports league teams.

In March 2023, Gulfam Ahmed reached out to Sonal for help, as he experienced excruciating pain in his right shoulder. After assessing his exercise routine and requirements, Sonal advised him to visit Neuroaid-Shakti in Vasant Kunj, Delhi. The treatment session provided significant relief, prompting Gulfam to create a vlog about the facilities and services offered by the Neuroaid & Research Foundation.
