In the Faridabad Wheelchair Cricket Premier League, players are encouraged to focus on their abilities rather than the limitations imposed by their disabilities, echoing the words of Stephen Hawking: “Be disabled physically, not in spirit.” The Neuroaid & Research Foundation was privileged to partner with the Delhi Wheelchair Cricket Team as their official Physical Therapy service provider, under the aegis of the DIVYANG CRICKET CONTROL BOARD OF INDIA at the event held from March 14 -16, 2024.
From 14th to 16th March 2024, Neuroaid played a crucial role by offering onsite physiotherapy support to players from the Delhi, Haryana, Jammu-Kashmir, and Andhra Pradesh wheelchair cricket teams. This support includes pre- and post-warm-up and cool-down sessions, as well as on-field preventive and curative treatment. The organizers expressed their gratitude to Neuroaid for their team’s professionalism and expertise demonstrated throughout the series.
