In response to the demanding nature of banking jobs, particularly prolonged sitting periods facing computers, the management of HDFC Bank’s Manav Ashray branch sought to address employee well-being. Recognizing this need, The Neuroaid and Research Foundation (NRF) proposed an ergonomics awareness program, which was warmly welcomed by the leadership team.
On December 17th 2022, NRF conducted its inaugural ergonomics workshop at the HDFC Bank premises, marking the beginning of a transformative initiative. The workshop garnered positive feedback from employees, who actively participated in learning about right and wrong posture, workstation design, and practical exercises. NRF therapists provided valuable insights, emphasizing the importance of incorporating ergonomic practices into their daily routines.
Employee satisfaction was evident, with many expressing appreciation for NRF’s proactive initiative in promoting workplace health and enhancing productivity.
