Occupational therapy helps regain, enhance and maintain:
- Graded exercise programs through functional activities to improve muscle strength and endurance using MET levels
- Guidance on work-rest balance through work simplifications and energy conservation techniques
- Psychosocial (emotional) well-being by facilitating return to daily routine activities, work, leisure and recreation tasks based on MET levels
