On the occasion of World Physiotherapy Day, Team NRF of Manav Ashray Physiotherapy Centre conducted a free medical camp on 8 September 2022 at the Senior Citizens’ Welfare Forum, Vasundhara Enclave on “Prevention and Management of Osteoarthritis” . The team included Dr Alka Sinha, Dr Nidhi Sharma and intern Ms Vaishali from the Amar Jyoti Institute of Physiotherapy.
Dr Nidhi Sharma discussed various ways to prevent osteoarthritis, while Dr Alka Sinha addressed participants on the global impact of osteoarthritis, debunked common myths, and emphasized on the importance of exercise. Both Alka and Nidhi jointly led the question and answer session and group exercises.
The session benefited a a large number of participants, who also received exercise handouts. The event concluded with an interactive question-answer session.
